I am rebuilding my home lab and will be posting the architecture soon. With the new vSphere 4.0 all the networking goodness is taken to whole another level. One in particular I am thrilled to know and use is the Cisco Nexus 1000v switch as part of the vSphere vNetworks API. This allows 3rd party vendors to build switches for the vSphere platform.
I ran into where I needed to uninstall the Nexus vCenter plugin and it was not completely clear. Thanks to this article, I am able to move forward.
The Cisco Nexus 1000v seems deep and awesome. I am looking forward to playing with more 3rd party Distributed Switches!
